Weight Lifting Tips
You will always require weight lifting tips to get the best benefit from your workout. Moreover, the chances of any serious debilating injury are greatly reduced too. And to begin with the tip, it is important to warm up before beginning your workout. Warming up also includes stretching all your muscles. This is essential because you exhaust while working out; hence, it is crucial that your cardio vascular vessels get proper blood flow. So always warm up your body for about five to ten minutes before starting with your workout.
To start with, begin with a weight that you can manage for at least few repetitions say ten to twelve. Successively as you progress add few more weight; this will keep you in a good form. But do not add much higher weights in the beginning. Use the weight that you are comfortable with. Heavier weights have drastic effect on muscles; it may tear or damage them.
A spotter is suggested to minimize the possible injuries when you progress with heavier weights. One or two reps with the help of a spotter will really count the difference. Lower the weight if you cannot complete full six to eight reps. And never try to raise more weight than you can, particularly when you don’t have a spotter, you may end up in a serious accident.
There are a few more essential tips. Breathe freely throughout your exercise. Never hold your breath when you are completing a rep; it can tear your blood vessels or even worse. In a unilateral workout, begin with the weakest side and then complete as repetitions on your other side. Too much working out on the stronger side is never advised though.
Always continue the same reps both the sides exactly. Human beings are not at all 100% symmetrical; so even if one side looks a bit better and much developed than your other side; do not panic, just keep doing equal amounts of reps both sides. The differences will minimize slowly when you will gain muscles and size.
Do not forget to work your major muscles for e.g. abdominal, legs, chest, shoulder, back and arms. The most important thing is to exercise in a balanced manner. You will appear out of proportion if you work out the top half of your body and not your lower parts. Following these tips will surely give you a well structured body.
