<p>Things to keep a note about in your mind are that there are mainly  three things which make your diet a healthy and balanced one which are:<br />
1.	Fats<br />
2.	Carbohydrates<br />
3.	Proteins</p>
<p>These three things are used up by the body, and not a single one will  you get from junk food. So, if you are interested in knowing the right  sources for these then continue reading further.</p>
<p>To start with, fats can be obtained from eating fish and other marine  life and the healthiest fat which is known is omega 3 since it is not  produced by the body. If you are a vegetarian then you can get it from  nuts and some vegetables.</p>
<p>If you talk about carbohydrates then it’s the gasoline for the body  as it provides energy to the body. Fats and protein can also fulfill  this need of energy to the body but in this case instead of gaining  weight you will be losing it. Fruits whole grains and vegetables are a  great source of carbohydrates.</p>
<p>Lastly proteins can be found in lean meat, vegetables and poultry  they are required to repair damaged tissues and for the production of  body chemicals and hormones.</p>
<p>A dietitian can be of great help in managing your day to day diet  plan but you will have to make know how to maintain a balanced diet and  keep a watch on the amount of calories you intake. This can be done  through online or through books and by dividing the required amount you  need daily in our meals it is advisable to eat 5 to 6 small meals than 3  full meals so you feel light and energetic.</p>
<p>Now lets take up the type of exercises you will need .This depends on  your body type its better to take the advice of your doctor so you can  know which exercises are safe for you. You can try aerobics, jogging,  cycling etc if you are in good shape, if you have joined a gym or do  these exercises at home you can look for anaerobic exercises similar to  above mentioned ones can help you add up weight.</p>
<p>If you get in shape after some time and have attained that ideal  shape and weight, then don’t stop there rather try to maintain it to  avoid getting over/underweight.</p>

If  you want to gain weight and cannot wait, some tips are mentioned below  which will help to gain weight and help you in following a healthy path  towards it:<span id="more-110"></span></p>
<p>1.	People who are interested in gaining weight fast must increase  there diet which is rich in calories since these act as muscle’s  building blocks and are the key resource for energy. Research show that  people with desire to add up weight must increase their intake of  calories up to 1000 or more, but this tip does not prove to be healthy  for everyone, especially for those who are on dieting or eat less.  adding 500 calories in diet to put on weight is good enough for  beginners and this amount can later be increased with proper  adjustments.(Note: Make it a point to read the label  for nutrition fact  which describes the amount of calories for each serving.)</p>
<p>2.	Munch up on snacks as much as you can all day. Snacks that are  rich in calories, proteins and carbohydrates when consumed in frequent  manner al day round will help great deal as it make you body ready for  the large quantity of food that you will consume during regular meals  and it is healthy too.</p>
<p>3.	Calorie rich food will help you to increase your body mass to  double. If you have a real desire to quickly gain weight then go for  food which is rich in calorie content.</p>
<p>4.	To add up weight in a healthy and safe manner you should always  try to consume food in larger portion during meals. But at the same time  don’t try to do this forcefully especially people who eat little it is  better to increase your capacity to eat more gradually rather than  suddenly coz this can be unhealthy for you . Instead, keep eating little  and increase your frequency of eating that is make your schedule for  eating twice.</p>
<p>5.	Increasing calorie intake means that you should calorie rich food  but at the same time make sure it is not saturated fat that you are  consuming since research statistics show that people who consume  saturated fat are more open to increased contents of  cholesterol in  their body and other  kinds of illness. So you should make it a point  that the food you are consuming doesn’t have high amount of saturated  fat in it. The food you select to add up weight should be high on  calorie content at the same time must be nutritious as well as healthy  (Note: Mostly go for fruits, meats and  vegetables).</p>
<p>Try to consult a physician and take his advice on the food to consume  and weight gain programs to follow, as the above mentioned tips won’t  provide similar result to everyone. This is because each one of us has a  different build up and genetic structure.</p>
