Female Weight Gain
Research proves that women are more prone to weight gain when compared to men. The reason for such a conclusion is not because females eat more than males. Instead female weight gain has certain linkage to their hormones and its imbalance. The various reasons for this hormonal imbalance, according to the experts are aging or menopausal, her lifestyle or due to medications.
Female weight gain is believed to be kind of an epidemic not just in the United States but also in other parts of the globe.
The Researches also show that a major cause for hormonal imbalance in females is due to the fact that they don’t have enough time to take care of themselves through appropriate eating and normal exercise. Apart from inappropriate diet and irregular exercise schedules, females who have a more active night life are more open to weight gain as they have a tendency to drink more alcohol and consume food which is low on nutritional content leading to an unhealthy lifestyle.
On the other hand, female weight gain does not always signify obesity.
There are examples of cases in which females were affected from eating disorders such as anorexia or bulimia and to recover from these disorders they had to gain some weight and then there are females who need to gain weight for increasing there confidence and have a fit and sexy body.
Females who need to gain more weight, they should try to concentrate, on having a more nutritious and well balanced diet.
A good diet is a very important aspect of weight gain as it decides the quantity of nutrition the body gets and calories which is stored in the muscles. For a healthy female weight gain the food selection should be appropriate considering the requirement of the body and it should contain an ample amount of vegetables.
Apart from balanced diet and healthy food selection an appropriate female weight gain must involve adequate supplements like vitamins and a set schedule for regular exercise.
Females with an objective of weight gain for some health purpose will require sufficient calorie intakes in various frequent intervals. But the quantity of calories provided to the body should be regulated in order to avoid overshooting of the weight target.
For females who plan to lose weight, they should start to cut down on foods that have excessive calorie content. They should also have light meals in order to fulfill the required nutritional needs of the body.
Females who are too much concerned and afraid about the negative impact of weight gain (which is too much weight gain) must start routine physical activities to get a firm and fit body.
To gain weight through workout and bodybuilding one should make sure first that they are physically active because being physically active makes you ready for the set of rigorous exercise which you would be doing during the workout. Being physically active is itself a good sign that you are physically fit and are ready. Other ways to know if you are physically fit is taking guidance from a physician who will conduct some tests and tell you if you are ready to gain weight or lose some.
